December Stewardship Message

Loyalty: Serving God, Not Wealth

Matthew 6:24 warns against the impossibility of serving both God and money. This teaching calls believers to make a clear choice of devotion, as divided loyalty leads to loving one and despising the other. The message is clear: God must be prioritized above material wealth, and true loyalty is demonstrated by serving Him alone.

Stewardship Committee:
Alana Frett, Joanne Thomas, Fay Rhoden-Barrett, and Sheila Williams

Join us today, Sunday, December 21, for our “Happy Birthday, Jesus” celebration immediately following the worship service.

Please note that spiritual parents will be revealed during the worship service, but gift exchanges will take place after church at the party.

Come ready for fellowship, joy, and a meaningful time as we celebrate the birth of our Savior together!

New Year’s Eve Service – December 31 at 11:00 PM
Join us as we gather for a special New Year’s Eve Service on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:00 p.m. Together, we’ll reflect on God’s goodness throughout the year, worship in gratitude, and pray with expectation as we welcome 2026.

Come with family and friends for a meaningful time of praise, encouragement, and celebration as the clock counts down to midnight. Let’s enter the new year with hope, unity, and faith! All are welcome — we look forward to seeing you there!

Emergency Contact Information Update
Thank you to everyone who has already submitted their emergency contact forms. In the coming days, we will begin reaching out—by email or phone—to those who have not yet completed a form.

Having up-to-date emergency contact information is essential. It enables the church to respond quickly and appropriately in the event of an emergency or urgent situation. Forms are available on the welcome table. You may return your completed form by placing it in the collection plate or by emailing the information directly to hbc20783@gmail.com. Thank you for helping us care for one another as a church family.

Sweetheart Day Celebration – Coming This February!

Registration will open soon for those who would like to participate in the celebration activities, which will include:

  • A Couple's March/Procession Dancing for the Lord
